Providing grants for animal welfare internships and volunteer opportunities abroad
Global industrial agriculture is devastating cultures, people's health, and the environment. Factory farming is the number one reason behind global climate change. Empowering young activists to tackle this issue creatively, and with a global lens, is of the utmost importance. This issue is inherently global, and so it is also important to connect these activists with animal welfare movements across the globe. This startup will provide travel grants for activists who want to intern or volunteer abroad at animal rights non-profits in Europe and Asia. These activists will hone their leadership, outreach, and marketable skills, while also creating a global network of passionate individuals to help them in the future, and creating personal projects, like a blog, to share their experience with their friends, family, and other activists back in the U.S.
